Learn@Home is an advanced, interactive online learning solution built in association with an international platform to bring the classroom experience to the childrens’ homes. The program is aligned to the KLAY curriculum and promises virtual collaboration between teachers and children – the closest we could get to in-person interaction.  The program is available in a subscription-based payment model, allowing you to pay monthly, or quarterly, or for an year, as per your convenience. While we offer flexibility in payment, we recommend you complete the entire year so as to reap the complete benefits of the structured curriculum for your child. 

The program starts on 1st July – the schedule for the day involves introduction and settling in activities for the children. For thchildren who join the program later, we will be providing them with recorded classes to make sure their learning is in sync with the existing students

The program is curated for children between the ages of 24 months – 6 years. There will be four batches according to the program: Sr. Toddler (2-3 years), Prek (3-4 years) K1 (4-5 years) and K2 (5-6 years) 

The online interactive classes will be for 4 days a week.  There will be classes on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. Thursday is dedicated to homework – the child will do offline activities independently or with the support of the parents, as per the age group. Friday we will conduct a recap of the week’s lessons. The duration of the session per day for toddlers is 1.5 hours and for preschoolers (Pre K, K1, K2) – 2 hours. 

This will be a blended learning model comprising of an online group interactive session along with offline activities for children to complete on their own or with the help of parents, as relevant according to age group. 

What will not change with our model is our curriculum and learning philosophy which is based on multiple Intelligence and experiential learning where the child learns through experiences in and around one’s learning space. The program includes physical activity, math, language, sessions on general awareness, music, art & craft, storytelling etc. 

The ratio will be 1:12, I.e. every teacher will be engaging with 12 children during a session

While we as a team of early years specialists and educators put the program together, we still need the parent’s help and support to achieve what we would otherwise achieve in a traditional classroom. We are cognizant of the several commitments they may have on the work/home front; keeping that in mind we worked towards establishing a routine with respect to your child’s engagement in the program. There will be two kinds of engagement- online and offline. Our teachers will engage children through the session while the child is online and we will need the parent’s support post that for the offline session that will comprise of activities that can engage the child in at your convenient time. We would need their support in submitting your child’s work as well as marking observations against the milestone tracker that will be shared with them. As always, we encourage their continued feedback to ensure the program works for the child.  

We want to enable the children to get back into a routine and replicate classroom environment for them. Hence, the sessions will not be recorded however every Friday recap of the week will be done. Children will also get an access to online learning resources 

Learn@Home is a program with live, online interactive sessions in a classroom format. KLAY@Home was a series of live video sessions and activity worksheets to engage children during the summer months. The content was designed basis the previous year’s curriculum. These activities are available as a repository on our website for any-time access. ` 

Learn@Home, on the other hand, marks the beginning of the next academic year and will take into account structured learning outcomes and strategies to track the progress of these outcomes in children. It is a paid-for program on a subscription-based format. 

We will wait to hear from respective state Governments on the guidelines for re-opening physical centres. Until then, the online program will help continue the learning for our children.

You can let the parents know that according to experts, rules around kids’ screen time have evaporated as schools and workplaces have closed. Worrying about it should be low on our list of priorities. 

From a more scientific perspective, there are two types of screen-time – active (where there is two-way interaction) and passive (one-way content dissemination). Learn@Home follows the principle that active collaboration and forming of emotional bonds through human interaction make for the best learning experience for children of these age groups. Besides, the focus for parents should shift to what kind of content they consume given the current circumstances. 

All the data is secure and Digital IP protection is provided with watermark through back-end integration with block chain encoding. Neither the teacher nor the parent can use our curriculum content/framework outside the system. The child and parent details shared with us will not be shared with the third party and reside only with us. Email id of the parent will be shared only to get logins created. It will not be used for any other purpose.
