Key Account Manager is the primary contact for designated customers within their assigned territory. He/ She is responsible for mining, increasing width and depth of signed up key accounts. He/ She is responsible to ensure timely renewals with targeted price point, retain contracts and ensure that the Account sees him/ her as an ”go-to” from policy making/ modifying standpoint.

This position will report to the Lead- Account Management

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute key account strategy for defined set of key accounts with primary responsibility for sales and driving Key account relationships
  • Design a strategy for each key account based on FYLS imperatives/Key Account understanding
  • Develop a clearly defined terms of agreements for all Key Accounts
  • Analyse data on customer demographics, preferences, needs, and buying habits to identify potential markets and factors affecting demand and customer preferences.
  • Responsible for identification of opportunities, mapping and prospecting them for conversion.
  • Tracking competitors’ movement in the market as a proactive measure so as to retain the existing client base.
  • Demonstrate a strong knowledge of external competitor activity and market trends to be able to effectively position our products through differentiated selling.
  • Develop and execute a sales strategy for key clients for increasing interactive penetration and improving operational economics.
Required Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Account Management or sales
  • Excellent communication skills; Well-spoken and with excellent written and spoken English skills
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Ability to arrive and understand basic margin calculations
  • Computer proficient (Word, PowerPoint and Excel)
  • Possess Key Skills: Influencing, Leadership, Teamwork, Account Management, Planning & execution , Problem Solving/Analytical thinking, Relationship building (internal and external, & Knowledge of the business
Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • MBA/Any master’s degree in management is strongly preferred
  • Prior retail experience a plus
